Privacy policy
Student-created recordings and assignment files are stored in the student’s connected Google Drive. Academic metadata is stored in this platform.
Course content
Course videos, PDFs, lesson audio, images, notes and tests remain on YouTube, this software or the linked content provider. They are not copied into every student's Google Drive.
Student-created work
When a student connects Google Drive, the platform stores that student's recordings and uploaded assignment files in folders created in their own Drive. The software database stores file identifiers, submission metadata, progress, marks and administrator feedback so the work can be reviewed.
Google permission
The app requests the narrow drive.file permission. This is intended to let it create and manage files it creates, rather than browse the student's entire Drive. A student can disconnect access at any time. Disconnecting does not delete files already saved in Drive.
AI processing
When the administrator enables AI evaluation or dynamic conversation, text and eligible submissions may be sent to the configured AI provider. The interface labels AI results as preliminary; the administrator makes final assessment decisions. When AI is disabled, the built-in scripted conversation mode does not send prompts to an external AI service.
Device storage
Offline recording drafts are stored locally in the student's browser on that device until submitted or browser data is cleared. The PWA uses a randomly generated installation ID—not a permanent hardware identifier—to measure active installations.
Account controls
Contact the organisation operating this website to request account correction, deletion or export. Google Drive files remain under the student's Google account controls.
